THIS IS REALLY THE LUG PAGE!!     The Department occupies the first floor of the Science Hall, and is part of the Division of Natural Sciences.

    We offer programs in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Computer Science/Mathematics, and Computer Information Systems.

    Our Mathematics and Mathematics Education programs prepare students for careers in various professions - statistics, education, actuarial science, and operations research are just a few of the possibilities. Additionally, students are prepared for further study at the graduate level in Mathematics.

    Our Computer Science/Mathematics and Computer Information Systems programs prepare students to enter professions such as software engineering, systems analysis and design, and systems administration, among others. In addition, students are prepared for further study at the graduate level in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems.
